Claim C428831 not being processed since 7 Jan 2013

I was in a car accident where my car was scratched on the left back ... - the accident was reported at Alberton police station and we got the AR number and got the person who damaged my car to write an affidavit confirming what happened. We then lodged a claim on 7 Jan 2013 and got an SMS on same date confirming the claim, this was followed by a call from their assessor arranging a meeting for the following day. I then took the car to Danmar Autobody where Wayne assessed it and took images. He said they would get back to me within 3 working days and we did get an SMS saying they have the damage report and will be contacting us to "discuss"! This never happened until a week later when we called to enquirer about the status of the claim, then we were told that they are still waiting for "some info" from Wayne - then it was quiet again. We called again this week and were told that the claim is yet to be authorised because of the amount of damages - then quiet again. We called yesterday and were told that they need the actual AR from the Alberton police station - why wait this long to tell us this? After getting the AR - what else will be outstanding? Very appalling service!!!
