I was initially quoted R850 for comprehensive vehicle insurance on my new car, when i received my quote i noticed the sales consultant had indicated that i work in "Revonia" instead of Rivonia. When i called MiWay to amend this, after a lengthy phone call i was told my premium would now be about R910 i was also told that i would now be charged a fee for changing my details. This was not the quote i originally signed up for, then i didn't change my details, i never at any point gave the wrong information to MiWay, i was merely correcting a mistake made by a sales consultant, i don't see why i should be responsible for this change. The sales consultant who helped me yesterday with the change told me that my premium has changed because "revonia" is in Pretoria, i tried to find it on google and google maps if a place like this existed and nothing came up (other then in the Los Angeles in the US), in the initial phone call for the quote, if i recall, i said Rivonia, Johannesburg, how was this misinterpreted or misunderstood?
