Not responding to cancelation of policy

On Monday 19 August 2013 I emailed MIway Insurance to cancel my membership as I received a cheaper insurance company with more benefits that I am currently receiving from Miway, on Wednesday I have sent the email again requesting cancelation as of 01 September 2013, still no response I than called the call centre and they transferred me to some higher position person by the name of Emanuel, he said he would revise my policy and come back to, It is Monday again 26-08-2013 and still no reply no phone call at all so how would I know how long it would take to sort out a claim if they cant respond to a cancellation?
