Devastated Old Mutual client

Dear Hello Peter

I am greatly saddened and disappointed by the disservice that my elderly relative has received from Od Mutual in her time of need and grief.
In 2011 she (Elizabeth Mahlo) approached Old Mutual with the intention to cover her family, in particular her mentally son with a funeral policy. She was told she is too old to be the principal member and was then advised to make her daughter (Gillian) the principal member and have her son (Steven) covered as a dependent even thou she would be the one paying the premiums (which sounded do-able).
The son in question has been living in a mental institution and sadly he passed on almost two weeks ago. To this day he has not been buried because Old Mutual refuses to pay, reasons being, he was suppose to be covered as a
member since he was born in 1979.
Now questions are:
1) He was already over age when she joined, wasn't that the right time they adviced her that?
2) Why was he captured as a child when it is against their policy?
3) Why did they give her false hope that she will be taken care of in her time of need?
4) Where do they expect her to get money to bury her child when she all along sacrificed her pension money to cater fo
