Embarrasing their Customers

On Thursday the 8th I checked my account balance on the Nedbank website, it showed that I had an amount of /- R1500 available. I planned my budget for the days of the month left for August accordingly. On Friday I wanted to spend an amount of R65 at PnP, and my card purchase was declined. I was so Embarrassed! ( had no money on me), a good Samaritan came to my rescue to pay for the goods. On Saturday, I checked with the teller at the bank and she told me that I had no money available on this account, as a R1500 debit, was pending on my account. I checked with your call centre this morning, and now I have an amount of R280.08 available? Surely when a card purchase (swipe) is made, this amount should be reserved with emmediate effect? WHAT IS GOING ON WITH NEDBANK'S MATH'S?
