Standard Bank Disappoints

The very first time I wanted to open a bank account, they refused to help me in the Branch, said they will send a consultant to my workplace to open the account, three jobs later i'm still waiting for that consultant.

First time I bought a house - our agent obviously knew someone at Standard Bank because he refused to sent our application to any other bank, our homeloan got approved, Standard Bank phoned and gratulated my fianc? 's ex wife on "her new house". Because the person who dealt with our application was too lazy to open a new file for us, he just reopened my fianc? s previous file.

I was the one who put all the money down for the deposit, it was my first house and I was disappointed from the word "go" with Standard Bank. They forced me to take building insurance from them, everything they say they cover in the brochure they have sent me, is not covered. I have phoned several times and they simply refuse to do any work on my house because that is "not" covered. So you pay for everything but they do nothing...
