Sos Squad tarnishing Standard Banks name

This is not so much a complaint to Standard Bank but more of a warning shot being fired. Sos Squad called me shortly after having my credit card approved by Standard Bank. They are obviously add on services provided by associated company. They explained their RANGE of products including MILC which is mobile content, Phonebox, SO Music and SOS Squad.

I told the woman that called very very clearly that I dont want anything activated until I decide to do so and she agreed.By some form of luck I managed to check my statements and notice 4 debit orders in the following form: SOSSquad: R49, SOMU: R49, PHOB: R19 and MILC R19.

The intent here is very clear from this company to divide payments in to figures smaller than R100 as not to receive a notification of the debit order. And the phone call I had made was FAR from an agreement to debit and I could make a lot of trouble for SOS Squad if I requested that call.

Standard Bank is this seriously the type of company you want associated with your brand?
I am one of few clients that follow up on these type of things and they are people of money.
It is not about the income produced but the ethical stance this company has taken.
