Text messages when logging in

I requested that I receive a text and not just an email when logging into online banking as I want to know if when my account is accessed.
I was told that that functionality is not available and not necessary because you receive an OTP every time you want to make a transaction. This is a false statement, because I was just able to buy airtime without a OTP.
This means that if my account is compromised in any way, someone could my money by buying airtime. I cannot accept their response. They will also not send a text for any transaction less than R100. Apparently it is a "Business decision". Extremely unhappy with online banking security and customer service. They can't help me at all.
