Susan from the Bloemfontien branch contacted me last year November with a settlement amount and even send the email. The email was send on 27/11/2012 I made the payment on 03/12/2012 since there was no due date on and in our telephonic conversation i was informed that i can pay within 7 days. On 04/12/2012 i paid the accounts closure letter's R25 and called for the letter, i was informed it will take a week. After 04/12/2012 i could not get hold of Susan again. After being send to and fro to the different branches i mailed the proof of payments again, only to be informed that the settlement amount was not paid in time and that i still owe money and that they will take me to the lawyer if i don't pay.
According to them this Susan was suppose to inform me, but she never did so why should i pay for their employees not doing their work. This is really unprofessional and unfair. The Customer service stincks
