Imagine my shock when I go through my bank statement after 3 months of obliviousness, ABSA have without my knowledge and consent increased my car instalments when I call them they tell me that they have added insurance premiums on my car, when I already have insurance. They asked me to send them proof of insurance which I did and they will refund my monies.
Now 7 days later, I call them and they tell me that they are having backlog issues that is the reason why my monies have not been paid and now I have to wait an an additional 7 working days to have my monies paid.
I now need my monies back with compound interest or else I am approaching the Banking & Insurance Ombudsman's for a relief. Clifford Bome the supposedly Call Centre Manager would does not even have the decency to answer my phone to explain to me why they are making their backlog issues my problem.
