First National Bank
FNB sends woman crying when trying to switch

My sister went into the FNB Branch in Potchefstroom to switch her account to them and left in tears after a rude staff member, Calvin, couldn't communicate in a professional and respectable manner when she didn't have the right papers with her. Not only did she leave crying but also without any solution or way forward. She so badly wants to switch to FNB but doesn't want to go back into the branch because of Calvin and Potch is only so big. I am not naive and emotional to now say that I will leave FNB and call it a bad bank because it is a fantastic organization and I am very happy there myself but that individual should maybe go work somewhere else where people behave like that as it is unacceptable to have a customer leave in tears because of your behavior as well as bad for FNB's business.

I phoned and spoke to Calvin who had a terrible attitude and kept on threatening that he will end the call if I speak to him in a "manner" and in a "tone". This after him doing all the talking and me listening to his pathetic version of events and that he had a witness. Guess I would also look for an excuse to get off the phone if I were in his shoes...

Regards,

Loyal, but unhappy chappie.
