I needed a loan ugently December last year. I borrowed R35 625.00 from Direct Access. I am currently paying a monthly instalment of R 1, 473.07. R 140.72 is for the grouplife policy, R 57.00is for fees, R448.28. is for the loan repayment and R 827.85 is the monthly interest. I am paying this back over 48 months, which was not negotiable. I know that times are hard, but why are ordinary people being robbed of their hard earned money?
What troubles me; when this was loaded on my FNB profile; it was loaded as the debt of R 61, 216.96 instead of R35 625.00 and when i enquired about that; no one was able to explain why the amount was all of a sudden doubled and im still paying interest over the amount i never borrowed, what is this. I then phone and asked to increase myy installment and they refused point blank, Direct Axis are you trying to get us into more debts that we already are, how sick it this?
