I recently returned from an overseas trip to London. Went into the bank today to cash in the foreign funds available on my Cash Passport. I also wanted to cash in a 10 Pound note that I had brought back. ABSA wants to charge me the minimum commission of R115.00 to cash in the note which is worth R150.00. Surely this is excessive?
