I would like to lodge a complaint with regards to eBucks. I am lodging it here because experience taught me it is of no use contacting telephonic support since they are usually unable to help with problems like these.
I am leaving on an international trip later this month. I decided to buy a small camera to take some pictures and the odd video. I decided on the Canon Ixus 240HS. I was over the moon to see that it was sold on [URL Removed] since I could use some of my eBucks and get it cheaper. My order was delivered yesterday just as I was about to go out. I signed for the package and only opened the box later the evening. At first I noticed nothing out of the ordinary, but while testing my new camera I saw it was the incorrect camera. I received a Canon IXUS 125HS (a much cheaper model than the Canon IXUS 240HS). At first I thought I made some mistake, but my invoice and delivery note clearly shows Canon IXUS 240HS. If there was no stock available, why was I not contacted? They simply shipped me a cheaper product (which I do not want). What happens to the price difference? I am not happy and I want the camera I paid for before my trip in two weeks
