I am on an Absa value bundle which includes internet banking charges and so forth. However I got a ridiculous charge for R70 for using internet banking. It turns out there is an extra charge for viewing bank statements, sending notice of payment, etc... What is the point of saying its free internet banking when they are other charges - it should of been stated free limited usage of internet banking.
Please consider Absa's hidden costs when choosing a bank or use it as a motivation to change...
