On 28 may i requested a cash out on a policy.

was sent a mail to complete the application which i did. then got my service request number.

I called sanlam on the 30 may to follow up as i needed the money for a family emergency.

i was assisted by a nicholas he requested that I send him proof of address which i did while he was on the line, i then explained that my Edgars statement is the only proof of address i have, he was was very unhelpful and gave an i don't care attitude towards my request. being frustrated i requested that he sent me a form to complete as i want to cancel my policy. later on He sent a mail, stating i can not cancel my policy and sorry he is not able to help.

I have had to now borrow money and put myself into more debt.

on 04 Jun 2013, I receive a mail replying to my sent proof of address, stating they can not update my details i need to send my ID number.

All I wanted was my money...

very disappointed with Sanlam as a whole. I am stilling waiting for my cash out.
