ABSA gets it wrong, then threatens the customer

I was recently involved in an accident which saw my previous car being written off. This forced me into purchasing a new vehicle, which meant that I needed to apply for financing. It blows my mind how ABSA could have created such a monumental bolls up when they captured the paperwork... I closed each and every account (with the exception of a personal loan) at ABSA well before applying for financing this vehicle, yet all the paperwork reflected my (already closed) ABSA Cheque account details. This was changed on all the paperwork and still captured incorrectly by ABSA staff! When the 1st of the month came round and I noticed that ABSA did not deduct my vehicle repayment, I started phoning them on the call centre number. Shortly thereafter I received an SMS instructing me to phone your number - I did so, repeatedly leaving messages on your machine but never hearing from you. My loan originator eventually assisted in sorting the problem out and I received confirmation from ABSA of this fact. Yet: I have now received a registered letter threatening that my house could be sold to cover the repayment that IS ALREADY PAID, this after it was YOUR FAULT to start with?! I have no words!
