FNB South Africa advised me to take their travel wallet overseas on my trip to Asia. Which I did. I have been in Asia 2 months now and a week ago my Travel Wallet was frozen by FNB. I am in a very foreign country and my card freezes leaving me with no access to my money. And therefore no easy way to survive in the chaos of Asia. I contacted my parents back home with my details to sort the problem out at FNB and First National Bank South Africa has been dreadful. 2 weeks gone and I still have no access to money, call centers do not accommodate South Africans. I paid for the Travel Wallet service for a reason, and all it has done is left me completely stranded in Asia!! Horrible service from First National Bank South Africa.
