DISSAPOINTING TO SAY THE LEAST

I HAD MY HOME BROKEN IN TO & PLENTY OF GOODS . THE ASSESSOR CAME THROUGH AND DISCUSSED MATTERS AND TOLD ME HE WOULD GO THROUGH THE VOICE RECORDING OF WHEN I TOOK OUT THE POLICY TO ASCERTAIN THAT ALL DETAILS WERE CORRECT AND HANDLED PROPERLY & THEREAFTER WOULD GIVE ME FEEDBACK. I WAS THEN TOLD THAT MY CLAIM IS DENIED DUE TO THE ALARM NOT BEING ACTIVATED ON THE FRONT DOOR AND WAS TOLD THAT I HAD SAID IN THE CONVERSATION THAT I AM BUSY LINKING UP WITH ADT. I ASKED FOR A COPY OF THE RECORDING AS I COULD NOT RECALL SAYING THIS. I HAVE LISTENED TO THE RECORDING AND NOWHERE DO I SAY ANYTHING LIKE THAT. IN FACT, I STATE THAT I AM HAVING NEW DOORS / WINDOWS AND EXTREMELY SECURE BURGULAR BARS PUT IN AND WHEN ASKED IF THERE ARE SENSORS ON ALL DOORS AND WINDOWS, MY RESPONSE IS .."UHMM WELL THEY ARE STILL BUSY WITH THE DOORS & WINDOWS" THERE WAS THEN NO ELLABORATION FROM FFW STATING THAT I HAVE TO CONFIRM WITH THEM ONCE COMPLETED, OR THAT THEY WILL GIVE ME 30 DAYS TO ENSURE ALL IS DONE ETC. YET, ON OTHER TRIVIAL MATTERS, THE CONSULTANT ELLABORATED ON DETAILS AND THAT I SHOULD KEEP THEM UP TO DATE. EAGER TO TAKE ONES MONEY BUT WILL FIND A WAY TO DENY FULFILLING THEIR RESPONSIBILITY
