Over promising and under delivering

I ordered the new Samsung Galaxy S4 device through the FNB website on the 03 May 2013.

I was told that FNB has a SLA of 10 working days. This I am fine with. I phoned the FNB call centre on Monday 13 May 2013 to request the status of my delivery. The lady at the call centre very confidently assured me that I could expect delivery no later than Friday 17 May 2013. Today I phoned into the call centre and queried the estimated time of delivery on Friday as I had to assure that someone is at home. The gentleman today then simply said sorry we are out of stock, we will let you know when we receive stock again.

He couldnt tell me how long I am going to wait or when stock will arrive. i just have to wait. This means I will have to wait for weeks for the back log of orders to go through first, something I wanted to avoid.

This hardly represents the advertising campaigns currently run by FNB.

Very dissapointed.
