FNB - HOW CAN WE HELP YOU - CLEARLY YOU CANNOT

I was trying to change my in-contact number on my online banking and I was told that I failed the validation and that I needed to go into the bank to effect the chnage. How is it possible to fail a validation based on yourself. Are the questions asked rigged in some way to ensure that you have to go into the bank.

I am unable to go into a bank as I do not have a vehicle and I cannot walk to the bank as I have a problem with my back so tell me how is online banking making my life simpler /easier/faster as this is just adding comlications to my life.
