Sanlam
Sanlam doesn't pay out what is due

The annuity expired in 2009 and the first phone call any one received was on 12 November 2012.
The information provided was incorrect, stating that in order for Sanlam to release the funds to me the beneficiary I simply need to provide my banking details. A week later I received a phone call stating that a Trustee (the owner of the Annuity) needs to provide a letter saying that the funds can be transferred into my account. I supplied this letter on 28 Jan 2012 then to be informed it wasn't sufficient.
Then I was informed that I needed to supply a proxy letter from the second Trustee in order for the active trustee to have the final say in what happens to the funds.
On 7 May 2012 I submitted these documents to the agent (Denzel Josephs) and received a response tthat the query will be resolved by 10 May. The response I received from Sanlam on the 10th of May was: would you like to communicate with us in English or Afrikaans? You did not send through the required docs.
Unacceptable. Don't invest with Sanlam, you'll never get your money back.
