MiWay keeps debiting my account wrongly

In March 2012, following a trade in with my vehicle, I cancelled the cover on my vehicle - a Mitsubishi Colt. I enquired on cover for my new vehicle but did not accept as the quotation was much higher than what I got elsewhere.

I was then told by Janet who was assisting me that the contract would lapse at the end of that month and I would no longer be debited going forward.

Since then, debit orders have still been going through and I have gone from pillar to post trying to cancel this and get a refund. I have since resorted to stop the debit order with my bank but am not getting anywhere with getting a refund. I have also spoken to Michael and Hope and this has not yielded results.

This is nowhere near the excellent customer service MiWay pride themselves in and suggests that they are just an ordinary insurance company.
