My check account was handed over to legal department of Standard bank. I have pay off the account and more. Nobody call or mail me to say that i've payed to much money in to the recoveries account. I have phoned and ask outstanding balances on my account. Then only they informed me of the over payment. On the 25th March 2013 I went to the bank and opened a new account for the back payment of my money, the lady at Brackenfell branch phoned the recoveries department informing them of the new account number. They said to her that the money will be payed back within 7 working days. On the 8th April I phoned then to find out the progress on the payment and Lucas said to me that the manager had to sign the release for the back payment. Today I have phone them again and the same was said to me. I was also informed that they have many customers to attend to. Thanx you
