Complaint about the complaints dept!!

I recently visited the Standard Bank branch in Rosebank for further advise as i needed a huge amount to be paid to one of my beneficiaries loaded on my internet banking. I could not do the payment myself as my limit was too low. Once in the bank i was advised that an express payment could be made for a fee but no mention of any additional fees. In any event i was indeed charged additional fees that amounted to over R1000.00 based upon the amount that was transferred. After raising this with their head office i was advised that nothing could be done as this was how they charged clients. I then proceeded to raise this complaint with Std Banks complaints dept. After receiving a call from Lindie Ndaba and explaining my side, to my amazement she proceeded to blame me for being charged an additional amount. She made no attempt to investigate the query first and lacked understanding. I pay monthly fees to my bank, in return i expect assistance and proper advice. In a day and age where everything is done on the internet my only need to go into a branch would be for assistance. Std Bank were not honest in the total fees to be levied to me and their complaints department serve no purpose.
