I entered for the Two Oceans Half Marathon yesterday at 10h00. I got to the payment stage and it said NOT to do payment but to rather try later. I have been checking the website ever since and the payment option was removed.
I emailed [Email Removed] and got this response:
"Good day.
If you were unable to pay then unfortunately you are not entered.
I am sorry that you could not pay for an entry.
There is still 3 ways left.
Charity entries.
The draw.
Substitutions.

I was on time for entering, ready to pay but the system popped up with a message telling me not to pay. This is unacceptable as from my side I did everything right. I would have paid if I could of. I expressed this concern to Arnau Swanepoel but all he said was:
"Sorry you are not entered into the race. I have checked the system."
Surely they can look at the system, see the time I entered, and take their system error into account? They admit error with their system but are not prepared to fix the mistakes for people who entered on time but experienced problems.
