I use to have a contract with Cell C (control chat 125). July 2012 i went to their Sandton city store to do an upgrade. I took a blackberry 9300 it was a Friday, when i get home i realised that the camera of the phone was not working, i returned it to the store Monday and ask them if they can give me a courtesy phone as i was leaving the town for the next 3 weeks or so they told me that they can't do that, they have to take this phone and book it for repairs. I did ask how long is going to take because i can only give them one day to return the phone to me that said that they will try. I then asked what will be process of cancelling the contract if it happens that i don't get this phone by the next day, the response was " you can send an email or a Fax".
The person who booked this phone for repairs didn't give me and receipt/ document to show that the phone is still with them, he said that i must come in with my id book to collect. I called them the next day to find out if the phone is ready but there told me that it is not ready. I sent an email cancelling the contract but even today i am still paying for the phone that i never had.
I am being victimised by Cell C!
