For the past 4 week I have had insufferable difficulty in making and receiving calls and connecting to the internet.
I have 3 Vodacom contracts, 2 Smart Advanced Contracts and one Data contract functioning with a Vodafone internet dongle / modem.
I have submitted a query to Vodacom regarding this and received a ref number. I have followed up on this query, but still no one has been able to provide me with any feedback / assistance with this problem. No one is taking responsibility for this problem and it is all around Bloemfontein that it is occurring. It is not a cell phone (hardware) problem as I have already attended to the checking of my mobile devices.
At least 17 other people I know and have contact with have the same problem with the signal. In a telephone, call the signal will show full, but the voice will drop and the call will be ended. A call can be made directly thereafter and a connection established - BUT NO VOICE IS TRANSFERRED THROUGH THE CONNECTION!
On my internet dongle, I can not even browse, the speeds are so slow - both at work and at home (CBD and Langenhovenpark) - that it if it is even able to display a webpage (whilst being connected.)
Shocking!
