I did an upgrade online - nowhere during the process was I told that the phone was out of stock and that I'll have to wait more than a month for the phone.
If I was informed during the upgrade process that I'll have to wait for more than a month for the new phone, I could have gone to any other service provider and signed a new contract and received my phone that same day and my current contract could have been cancelled by paying the penalty. Now I'm stuck with a new 24 month MTN contract!
I haven't received any communication from the upgrade-department keeping me updated on the progress of the upgrade or stock-availabitlity. I've called several times only to be told that there will be stock "next week".
I've been an Autopage Client for 14 years... Is there any way that I can cancel the upgrade and my contract so that I can take my business somewhere else?
