I had an telkom land line at our home, we then moved to JHB April 2011 and I requested that the line be cancelled. This was not done and in May2012 I was called by DMI Attorneys stating that I owed R1171.68 for the land line service. Being a understanding person I confirmed that I would pay this on the condition that the account be cancelled immediately, this was confirmed and the amount paid on the 28th of May 2012.
In November I received another call from Telkom stating that my telkom account (yes believe it or not, I still had an account) was in arrears with R800, after not getting very frustrated I explained the account should have been closed, the person said she would take care and that was the end of our discussion.
Today I receive an sms from Telkom stating my account is once again in arrears with R1180.57!!! this is insane!!!
I refuse to pay this and would see you in court if I do not find the maybe one person in Telkom accounts who actually works and do what they say they are doing to do!!!
