VODACOM CELLSURE NOT GOOD PARTNERSHIP

Dear Vodacom, My insurance was originally taken out on 18 March 2011 with my contract for a Blackberry 97.80. When I upgraded it in 2012 getting a Samsung S3 I took it from the Vodacom store, under the impression that it was insured by Vodacom WITHOUT ANYONE informing me that it was MY RESPONSIBILITY to contact Cellsure to upgrade the insurance. You advertise that Vodacom includes this insurance in their contracts - however this is in actual fact not the case. This lack of information and transparency has caused that my phone (Samsung S3) is only being paid out at R5000.00 and I need to pay an amount of R2272 R500 excess for this. You advertise yourself as a company with "no strings attached" - Very ironic as that is not the transparent way in which you operate at all. Extremely disappointing. With 71 complaints in the last 60 days on Hello Peter it is no wonder. Customer Service is a very big word - Easy to debit money from accounts, yet no transparency on your actions. I regard this as false advertising and others need to be made aware of this.
