I had an insurance claim with Budget Insurance and the windscreen replacement was given to Glasfit. They did not inform me of when the fitment would take place and when I fetched the vehicle from the panel-beater it was already complete. The fitment of the windscreen has left the plastic bottom frame of the vehicle badly damaged and loose. There are clear signs of force being used to remove the frame. When I called Glasfit, Edward asked me to bring the car in. I did and he blatantly refused to acknowledge the damage and said that the windscreen is fitted and would not come off. In all his arrogance he clearly missed that my concern was not the glass falling off but the much visible damage that was caused to the frame. Now due to Glasfit's incompetent staff, I have more damages to my car when it was sent in for repairs. I demand that Glasfit accept responsibility for the damage and replace the frame with a new one. Pictures from the assessment prove that it was not accident damage, but due to negligence from Glasfit. Please hire more competent staff.
