On 28 June 2013, I bought boots at Hush Puppies at East Gate. On Saturday I took it back because the dye came of on my socks and skin. There was nothing else that I wanted instead and asked for my R1000 back. I hand my receipt to the staff and fill in my name and cell number on a form. I was told that Head office will call me on Monday 1 July 2013. Nobody called me. On Tuesday I went to the shop again and asked my payment back. I was told Head Office did not send a driver to fetch the boots. Head Office will then decide if I can get a voucher or another pair of shoes. I do not want a voucher, another pair of shoes. I want my cash back. A staff member gave me Marshall's name and number: 011 839 3284. I called him on Thursday 4 July 2013 and his attitude was that he does not know about my boots and claimed that I do not know "how it works". He also says "it is only a few days". I now want my money back immediately because I need to buy other boots at a place where I can get better treatment and service. If I have to go to a lawyer tomorrow, HUSH PUPPIES will pay the cost of the lawyer. I give them 24 hours to pay me back.
