Leon's Welding services has done work in our industrial business park and quoted to install powder coated and galvanised burglar guards for our building. He's work done in other buildings looked up to standard. We accepted he's quotation and he, as any other company asked for a 50% deposit. This was paid immediately. He commenced manufacturing of the goods and 2-3 weeks later started installing. After considerable time was taken to explain the precision that was required for this particular installation, Leon went ahead and drilled into our aluminium framing and had to eventually remove and re-drill because of incorrect line-up of the brackets, thus leaving holes in the aluminium. Some brackets were cut off onsite and re-welded, touched up (which is already rusting) and left like that. Some brackets were cut off while the frame was in place causing burn marks against the tiles, paint and other surfaces. This was left as is. The overall workmanship was off inferior quality and once our CEO inspected it, he condemned the complete installation asking for a full refund and removal of the burglar guards. Leon made verbal threats to this and is since no were to be found.
