We viewed a property on Beach rd and as we were shown around< the agent told us that the dstv is done by ourselves She even gave us the number of a guy. Her words to us were that we will have our own dish on the roof and we pay for the installation. We also inquired about the parking and we were told that it's no problem and that we could use the wash bay or just speak to the caretaker. She wrote down the faults inside the fat before we moved in and telephoned me to aske me if I wanted a stove. When we viewed the place, there was a stove in it and we did want a working stove. Once we moved in, we came to realize that the dstv works with one dish on the roof. This is such a problem and broke in the first week of January, it came on in the middle of February and then something happened again this morning. The parking is a real problem and my son in law's car was broken into. The stove is old and not working properly. The door of the oven does not close. no repairs inside the flat has been done. The idea that we are getting is that this flat is just let out!! this is not smart thinking because as it deteriorates, its value goes down as well. Is this the normal practice??
