Nelson Mandela Municipality has cut my electricity

Nelson Mandela Municipality Electricity Department has, for the last 4 days, prohibited me from purchasing electricity for my home. My Fiance is alone in the dark and we have lost all our refrigerated foods.
This Monday morning I left for East London on business and can do nothing to help or protect her as she waits for the municipality to allow us to buy electricity again.

We've been living in our home in charlo for the last 8 years and kept up with our rate payments every month.
An amount of approx R500.00 was said to be owing on our account this month, so without any question
we paid direct into their account this past Sunday 3rd March and sent through proof of payment immediately
to [email protected]. Our account at this point was suspended already. After realising this my Fiance contacted the Elec. Dept. and she was assured we would be back online in the next 4 days!

It is now Thursday evening, she has just tried to purchase electricity but the acc. is still suspended!
It paines me to think i cannot be there to protect her now. Nelson Mandela Municipality. you have endangered my fiances life and have cost us our food for the month. can you really justify this?
