I have been getting SMSs from Nelson Mandela Municipality (Eastern Cape) saying that my account is in arrears. I even went to their offices when I was in Uitenhage to rectify my problem. As far as I know my account is paid from January to March but the reference used was not correct since the transactions were done online. Uitenhage office told me to bring the bank statement and other proves of payment. However, I couldn't do that since I was heading for Pretoria. I emailed required documents to Mrs Ilse Horne when I got to my office but I still get messages that say am in arrears. I have been trying to call their custom service number but in vain. What should I do? I am really worried that water and other services will be affected by this
