I bought prepaid electricity and sent the pin via SMS as usual. 24 hours later I am yet to receive my voucher number. This means we have been without electricity for 24 hours. The municipality will not answer their phones, not even the emergency number. I had to find out from prepaid24 that Ekurhuleni is offline and "working on the problem". I think this is unacceptable. I have a small baby and my elderly grandmother living with me. To allow a fault to go on for so long is affecting people's lives. And the lack of response is disgusting!
