About six months ago I bought an electric recliner from Tafelberg Furnishers in Tokai.
Alpine Furniture couldn't supply because they did not have the mechanisms... so Tafelberg lent me a recliner until mine was ready.
Now, my new recliner got stuck with me in it and I could not get out of the chair which does not have a manual override system.
This is very serious for me as I live in a retirement village and am disabled.
Fortunately I could get help but if this happened in the middle of the night, I don't know what the consequences would be!
I reported this to Tafelberg Furnishers who said they would attend to the problem immediately. That was Friday... on Monday because I had e mailed them, I received a call saying that ALPINE FURNITURE would contact me to come and sort out my very necessary chair.
NOTHING N O T H I N G - so much for their promises and service. I am stuck with a hige chair in my small room that I can't use.
ALPINE FURNITURE should be ashamed of letting me down and also TAFELBERG FURNISHERS.
TAFELBERG have not followed up with me to advise of delays - or to check what has happened.
