On Saturday 23 November I visited this business, i was supplied a trailer that was too big for my engine capacity.By the owners own admission, the staff should never have issued the trailer to me. I ended up having to rent another trailer at a cost from a different company and leave this one along the garden route at a friends business for safekeeping till they could collect it. i incurred huge fuel costs because of this, nearly double my usual consumption.
When reporting this to the owners son, he became verbally abusive using the most horrible profanity. I managed to phone the owner and explained. We agreed that he would collect the trailer and we could discuss a refund as i could no longer use the trailer and initially booked it for 2 days at R 600.
After he collected the trailer his tune changed, and he now suddenly incurred costs in collecting it. He said he would return my call as he was busy, its 5 days later and he has not responded to my calls, sms's or email. This is by far the worst service i have ever received and would not recommend doing business with Roadrunner trailers. Their conduct is unprofessional, unfair and rude.
