Please can you let me know how I go about submitting a complaint, My husband had an x-ray and scan done in hospital and then had an operation of his foot last year. I was on maternity leave at the time, when I received the outstanding bill, my medical aid advised me that the claim is stale and they are refusing to pay it. I am very unimpressed as this was done in hospital and they expect me to know exactly what was done in the hospital, I thought everything would be covered as we have 100% cover in hospital.
I have asked for the ombudsman's details on more than one occasion and they have ignored my requests.
Please advise me how to go about submitting a formal complaint. I have been with Resolution with over 5 years and this type of service is ridiculous, I'm with Reso through my company so we have a "personal consultant" and she hasn't been able to help at all.
