My daughter attends Wits University and changed degrees from B-com to B-Ed this year. I phoned ARMSTRONGS at the beginning of the year as we had 3 brand new text books we wanted to sell, I was told to call in May as I had phoned to late for 1st semester? I phoned in May (to be honest I phoned in-between as well) I was then told to phone at towards the end of June for the next semester. I got my daughter to phone on Wed and she was asked for the title and authors of the books, which she gave the lady only to be told they only work with UNISA prescribed books!!!??? why was this not communicated to me when I phoned in the beginning of the year? I know have to wait until next year to sell the books if I can as their may be other books they are using in place of the ones we had, I must say the staff were not at all friendly or helpful, quite a disappointment.
