Solar Partner installed a Solar Geyser and Collector at our new house last year. Worked OK as we moved in in summer, but May this year I notice the system is extremely inefficient, losing 25 deg at night. I complained and they came out to install two 'heat traps' saying this would resolve the problem. No difference. I complained in August and they came out again, this time saying they needed to change plumbing and would come back the next day to do this. I told them I suspect a problem with the non-return value, asking for this to be checked aswell. I speak to them later the next day, they now tell me they never agreed to plumbing changes and they only switched the pump and non-return valve around on the feed line which would resolve the problem and I would need to pay for other changes.

Desperate, I replaced the non-return valve myself (which resolved my issue), I then noticed the other issues with my installation:
- the supplied non-return value was caked-up (jammed), they never checked it and I suspect they supplied it that way
- no tempering valve installed (illegal)
- battery was never connected and faulty (clearly second hand)

I have lodged a formal complaint with Sessa.
