In Novemeber 2013 I purchased a new Ford Tourneo at the Benoni Ford. The Brochure and marketing state the car comes standard with power folding mirrors. On delivery i discovered this was not the case but the branch said they would sort it out with Ford South Africa. In December i went to the branch to have roof racks fitted where i was informed that the fact that the marketing stated power folding mirrors and now the vehicle does not have them is something i must take up with ford south africa. I contacted ford south africa today and they tell me i must take it up with the branch. I would not have purchased this vehicle if i knew it did not have power folding mirrors as this is an important need when parking. You dont want to get out the car every morning and night to fold the mirrors so you can park. I feel ripped off, Ford falsly marketed the vehicle and now dont want to help me pushing me from pillar to post.
The second thing is the sales person told me the gear box when in cruise control would work like an automatic and the car would gear down if necessary. This is also a false statement.
Ford if you want to have happy clients dont tell and sell false features!!!
