I usaully only fill up at BP stations nationwide because of the Discovery Insurance rebate. on the 12th December 2013 I was on route to Mozambique. I re-fuelled at the Komatipoort BP station. on re-fuelling, I requested the attendant throw in a bottle of Valve Ease (normally around R18-R20). The fuel totaled to an amount of /- R458.00. I requested the attendant bring the card machine. On signing the slip, I realized I was billed R498.00. I queryied the additional cost of exactly R40 and wastold it was for the Valve Ease. I asked the attendant to take me to the Manager, he advised that I should wait as the Manager would come to me. While waiting, I asked another attendant the price of the Valve Ease? In return, he asked me as to how much I was billed. I was furios, I told him that I wanted to know the price of the Valve Ease. After a few minutes, the attendant returned with a slip for a Valve Ease and returned R20 to me. If I did not pick this up, I would have been CHEATED of R20. I took a photo of the attendant if anybody is interested. UNHAPPY BP / DISCOVERY INSURANCE client.
