July 2012 I bought at brand new Korando 2 in Midrand.
There was an airbag system error and the response was that computer just needed to be reset.
At my inconvenience I followed all instructions from Mahindra and was send from one dealer to the other in order for Mahindra to repair the vehicle.
After 16 months Mahindra was still unsuccesful in order to repair the defect.
Mahindra SA reponded Via Email that they wont consider the warranty claim as I should have taken it up with the dealer where I bought the vehicle. Even though they are fully aware that I followed there instructions from day 1 in order to repair the defect on the vehicle.
I bought a brand new vehicle with safety features and with a warranty contract. I even took out an extended warranty on the vehicle.
The vehicle has a full service history and are still covered under warranty.
However now Mahindra SA refuses to repair the vehicle further under warranty which is shocking.
Further this defect (Faulty airbag system) compromises my family's safety every time we drive in the vehicle.
It is also shocking that Mahindra SA cant repair a fault on the vehicle, which poses a question how skilled are there staff?
Regards.
