I bought my 1st Nissan roughly 2 years ago from a 2nd hand dealer. I've had no problems with the car but recetly had the misfortune of finding out I have to pay R700 for a dealer to obtain my radio code. For reasons unknown the battery went flat and I had it replaced as I have with any of my previous cars... but with Nissan I have to pay R700 to listen radio again. The car and the radio are both in perfect working condition but I'm unable to use the features (FEATURES THAT I ALREADY PAID FOR WHEN I BOUGHT THE CAR) of the car because Nissan wants to charge me an additional R700 to "activate" the radio again. What nonsense is this? I have children to care for... not every person has R700 to waste on nonsense like this. I'd much rather spend that kind of money on my children's future. I've been a VW driver all my life... never again will I buy Nissan. Who knows what other hidden charges await you.
