Squad Cars
Landmark Vehicle damaged while at deale

On 27 November 2012, I booked my vehicle for mechanical repairs to Squad Cars/Golden Journey. On the same day according to my tracker unit installed in the vehicle, it was used to travel to the Mayville Hyperama, and other places. A few hours later the vehicle was taken to a panel beater by the dealer where it remained until 18 December 2012. The dealer claims that the vehicle got damaged by one of the hydraulic lift arms which was not removed under the vehicle when they wanted to take the vehicle off the lift. This damaged the running board and scratched the fender. Receiving my vehicle back, my windscreen is broken, the vehicle had been resprayed but at poor quality workmanship and you can clearly see spray marks even in the engine compartment. Body putty has been used to repair the left front pillar, the left front wheel is 3 -5 cm out of line with the rear wheel, there are traces that the metal inside the wheel arches is crinkled. Many more damages are evident and confirmed by the AA. This was a new vehicle with 45000 km's. The company only offers to take the vehicle back to the panel beater and not willing to settle the loss of value on what use to be an acc free vehicle.
