I received a quotation from Classic Removals in Durban. I did supply a list of furniture but unfortunately i left quite allot of items off. Once my goods were collected I received an email from Mandy and she informed me that I had extra items. Although I was completely upset and mad in the beginning Mandy explained to me how they quote in cubic feet and then when the driver collects he writes up another list and they re volume the goods again on a volume calculator to get the cubic feet. I can guarantee you it was a shock to me that I had left so many items off and threatened classic removals with media etc but let me tell you it was my fault as the goods that were collected was nearly double in volume. Mr Louie de Sousa was so friendly he gave a very reasonable discount on my extra items charges. Riaan in Johannesburg branch co ordinated the delivery and he was so friendly and helpful. I also want to thank Anlie as she also tried to help explain the whole extra items situation and I gave her a mouthful but she was patient and helped me alot. That is why i have posted this on Hello peter as sometimes the customer is wrong and they were willing to comprimise
