We went to On the Rocks for breakfast (4 adults and 3 kids). We requested seating in the outside area which we got. Our waiter (young white guy with dark hair - quite handsome) took our order for drinks - delivered the wrong coffee, without milk (hot milk was clearly asked for). We then placed our meals order... and waited. People who arrived after us were already served. My husband then went to enquire about our food. We were served short;y after that. The continental breakfast croissant was stale and old (I was very embarrassed as it was ordered by one of our guests). Our waiter never came back to enquire whether we would like something else to drink - I had to go upstairs twice to request it from another waiter.
If not for the view - On the Rocks really have nothing else going for them - next time I will take my Canadian friends elsewhere for a view of Table Mountain!
